- Is Google Jamboard shutting down?
- Yes, and the shutdown is complete. The Jamboard 55-inch whiteboard device reached end of life on 1 October 2024, after its automatic update expiration date of 30 September 2024. Google stopped selling and renewing Jamboard licenses on 30 September 2024, and the Jamboard Fleet Management service shut down on 1 October 2024.
- Can I still use my Jamboard device?
- Only in a limited offline mode. On 1 October 2024 Jamboard devices switched to unlicensed mode, so you can no longer save or open a jam or use Google Meet on the board. You can still use the whiteboard offline after a factory reset, or repurpose the device as a touchscreen display for a laptop over HDMI, but Google Drive saving and internet features no longer work.
- What happened to my Jams?
- The Jamboard web and mobile apps stopped allowing you to create or modify Jams on 1 October 2024. Google converted existing Jams to PDFs during 2025 and made them available in Google Drive, so you can find and download them there. Search Drive for type:Jam to locate the converted files.
